That’s a wrap on the 6th Annual GCI Trainee Research Day!
This year marked our largest Trainee Research Day to date, bringing together 120+ attendees in person and virtually to celebrate the next generation of gynecologic cancer researchers.
The day featured 16 trainee oral presentations, 37 trainee poster presentations, opening remarks by Dr. Tamil Kendall, a keynote talk by Dr. Shannon Salvador, an expert panel featuring Dr. Ali Bashashati, Geoff Schierbeck, Dr. Dalila Oliveira and Dr. Tamil Kendall, a Workshop with Dr. Ranjit Manchanda, and many opportunities to connect.
With one-third of attendees joining from outside British Columbia and 6% joining from outside Canada, we achieved our widest reach to date, creating new opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
