Introducing the Season 7 GOSH Podcast Co-Hosts
We’re excited to launch a new season of conversations exploring the latest in gynecologic cancer research, care, and advocacy.
Thank you, Sabrina Lloyd-Ellis
Before we look ahead, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks to recent GCI Trainee graduate Sabrina Lloyd-Ellis for her contributions as co-host throughout Season 6.
Across 13 episodes, Sabrina facilitated engaging conversations that connected researchers, clinicians, patient partners, and trainees, helping to amplify diverse perspectives across the gynecologic cancer community. Her curiosity and enthusiasm enriched each discussion, fostering meaningful dialogue at the intersection of research, care, and lived/living experience. We are grateful for the contributions she made to the podcast and wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.
Welcome, Ghazal Fallahpour
This season, we’re thrilled to welcome GCI Trainee Ghazal Fallahpour as our newest co-host.
Ghazal is a Master’s student in the Bioinformatics program at the University of British Columbia, where she develops machine learning models to analyze cancer data. Outside of her studies, she works as a personal trainer and enjoys hiking and exploring Vancouver’s restaurant scene. Welcome, Ghazal!
Welcome Back, Carly Allen
We’re also delighted to welcome back PFAC Member Carly Allen, who returns for her second season as co-host.
A passionate advocate for patient engagement, Carly brings invaluable lived experience and a commitment to ensuring patient voices remain at the centre of conversations about research, care, and advocacy. Through her thoughtful contributions, she continues to strengthen the connection between research and the communities it intends to serve.
Advancing knowledge exchange in Season 7
Together, Ghazal and Carly will help facilitate thoughtful discussions across gynecologic cancer research, care, advocacy, and lived/living experience. Through conversations with researchers, clinicians, trainees, patient partners, and community leaders, Season 7 will continue to explore the latest research discoveries alongside the lived and living experiences of patients and families affected by gynecologic cancers.
