Congratulations to GCI Trainee Zahra Mohammadi on recently receiving the 2025 UBC Faculty of Medicine Holly Ewanyshyn Women’s Health Equity Graduate Research Award for her project titled, “Unraveling the Cellular and Molecular Characteristics of Mesonephric-Like Adenocarcinoma (MLA): A Multi-Omics Approach.” Zahra is a second year PhD student in the Women+ and Children’s Health Sciences program (Dept. ObGyn) at University of British Columbia.
This annual award supports graduate research dedicated to disease pathogenesis in women or female models of disease, encouraging graduate students pursuing research at UBC in women’s health and better integration of sex and gender analysis toward achieving women’s health equity.
Congratulations, Zahra!
