Participate in Research on Sexual Health Concerns After Gynecologic Cancer
Dr. Lori Brotto, a professor at the University of British Columbia, is leading a research study focused on sexual health concerns among those who have previously been treated for gynecologic cancer. This study, eSense-Cancer, is testing the feasibility of a digital health tool called eSense, which delivers skills to address sexual difficulties to the user from the privacy of one’s home. eSense has been tested and found to be feasible and effective in a large sample of women with sexual concerns, unrelated to cancer.
This study is recruiting individuals who are aged 19 and older, have been diagnosed with gynecologic cancer in the past, are in a relationship, and are experiencing sexual difficulties that are persisting. If you are interested in participating, please email research coordinator, Nisha Marshall, at nisha.marshall@cw.bc.ca.
