This September, for Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, we are spotlighting the innovative discoveries supported through GCI Internal Awards that are accelerating progress in research and care.
Meet GCI Trainee Jessica Morgan, PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Julian Lum whose research focuses on, “Metabolic engineering of CAR-T cells to overcome immune suppression by 1-methylnicotinamide in ovarian cancer.” Jessica’s work is supported through the 2026 Nancy McKinstry Trainee Excellence Award.
